The Honors Program at Tennessee Tech University Honors Housing Agreement
By accepting a housing assignment in Murphy Hall, the Honors Program residence hall, I agree to abide by the following rules and conditions:
1. I will be considerate of other residents by maintaining appropriate noise levels, standards of cleanliness, and polite behavior.
2. I will refrain from using drugs and alcohol in the Honors residence hall.
3. I understand that significant misbehavior will result in my removal from the Honors residence hall.

I will pass at least one credit-bearing Honors opportunity (-800 section, colloquium, experiential learning, or directed study) each semester until I have fulfilled all course requirements for graduation in cursu honorum. If I must drop an Honors course, or if I have an extenuating circumstance that should exempt me from this policy for the current semester, I must obtain written approval from the Honors Program director.
5. If I decide to stop participating in the Honors Program (i.e., stop taking Honors classes), I will notify the Honors Office and will no longer be eligible for Honors housing as of the end of the current semester.
6. I will notify the Honors Office of any change in my residence status, including vacancy of a roommate.
7. Any misrepresentation of my intentions will be construed as a violation of this agreement, and will result in my loss of eligibility for Honors housing.
