Requirements:

In order to be selected to participate in study abroad programs, applicants must:
* be a full-time enrolled student at TTU in good standing
* have a minimum GPA of 2.5 (some universities abroad require 3.0)
* must be at least a sophomore and 18 years of age (transfer students must complete at least one semester at TTU to be eligible to study abroad)
* get approval to receive course credit or a co-op credit
*have a face-to face interview with Center for Global Experiences staff
*must review orientation materials and complete assessment
*have a commitment to abide by the rules and regulations of the study abroad program
Study Abroad Travel Reimbursement:

Students who meet the criteria qualify to receive up to $1000 as a Travel Reimbursement to cover the cost of round-trip air transportation to and from the exchange site. In order to receive the reimbursement, students must complete the application below and provide the Center for Global Experiences with all travel receipts. All receipts must have name, itinerary, total amount, and how it was paid for.
Conditions:
Recipients of the TTU Study Abroad Travel Reimbursement must complete 10 hours of service with the Center for Global Experiences in promoting study abroad opportunities and complete an online survey of your experience abroad.

Note: TTU will not cover extra expenses. i.e.: upgraded seats, insurance, etc. In addition, TTU cannot reimburse the airfare if you use milage points to pay for it.
