TTU Upper Division Nursing Application - 2025 Fall

Before beginning this application, please have your essay, HESI A2 scores and other documents prepared in a digital format for uploading. Your essay should be 1-2 pages and should discuss why you are interested in a career in nursing. You may upload other documents such as reference letters, a résumé, or professional certifications as well.

After submitting your application you will receive confirmation at the email address you provide. If you do not receive a confirmation email please follow up with us to check on your application status.

If you have additional information to include after your submission or would like to correct an error, please respond to that confirmation email.

Your completed, final application must be submitted no later than February 1st.

We do ask that you complete the HESI A2 exam and upload your scores with your application now. Registration information for the HESI A2 Exam through Tennessee Tech's Testing Center or through ProctorU virtual proctoring service is available at https://www.tntech.edu/nursing/hesi.php

Please make sure that any transfer or dual-enrollment transcripts have been received by Tennessee Tech. You can see what transfer credits you have by checking your unofficial transcript in Eagle Online. If you are taking a Winter term course at another school that finishes after after February 1st, have your grades sent as soon as possible.
