Interim/Break Housing Residence Halls - Fall to Spring Application

Reminders for those currently living in the residence halls:

1. Non-graduates: If you are not graduating, you should checkout 24 hours after your last final.

If you need to check out on Saturday, December 13, or Sunday, December 14, please let your hall staff know, and they can work with you. There is no need to complete this application if you will be checking out those days, but you will need to get it approved by your hall staff before your stay.

2. Graduates: If you are graduating, the halls close for you at 6:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

Again, if you need to check out on Sunday, December 14, please let your hall staff know, and they can work with you. There is no need to complete this application if you will be checking out on Sunday, but you will need to get it approved by your hall staff before your stay.

What this application does:

This application covers a range of dates from Saturday, December 13, 2025 (End of Fall Term) to Tuesday, January 13, 2026 (Beginning of Spring Term for the residence halls).

This application is to apply for Interim/Break Housing for the residence halls after the Fall 2025 semester ends and before the Spring 2026 semester begins.

OR

It is an application to apply for any late checkouts at the end of the Fall 2025 semester.

OR

It is an application to apply for early arrivals for the Spring 2026 semester.

Type of Housing Needed (Please note that students staying 5 or more days will be charged the full Interim Housing Rate):

1. Interim Housing - is for students who need the entire period from Saturday, December 13, 2025 to Tuesday, January 13, 2026 (31 nights @ $27.57 per night for a total of $854.67, if approved). Those who need Interim Housing should already have an assignment for the Spring semester as a returning resident.

2. Late Checkout - is for current students living in the halls who need a day or two longer after Saturday, December 13, 2025 before checking out. The cost is $27.57 per night (if approved). Please be advised that if you need to stay for 5 or more days for late check-out, you will be automatically charged for full Interim Housing of $854.67.

3. Early check-in - is for any student that needs to check-in a day or two before Tuesday, January 13, 2026 for the Spring 2026 semester. The cost is $35.00 per night (if approved). Please be advised that if you need to stay for 5 or more days for early check-in, you will be automatically charged for full Interim Housing of $854.67.
