Albrecht Lecture Series- Kassie Perkins

Kassie Perkins- Miss for America 2020 will be speaking on April 15, 2021, during dead hour (11:00-11:50 am).

In 2014, Kassie received an undergraduate degree in Accounting and, in 2016, a Master of Business Administration from Tennesse Tech.
From there, she went on to work in traditional accounting. Kassie has since then made a career shift as a Business Manager and Consultant for Wiatr and Associates. This firm provides financial advisory and management to recording artists, with most of their work in the country music industry!
In addition to her career success, Kassie has managed to do a lot on the side. This includes being crowned the first Miss for America in August 2019. She also became a published author with her children’s book, “Where There is a Will, There is a Way.” In addition to her strong connections with the national philanthropy, the Victoria’s Voice organization, which supports addiction awareness and recovery in teens.

Alongside her success in pageantry and her career, Kassie has also worked as a finance professor at community colleges and loves invoking the curiosity for knowledge that Tennessee Tech’s College of Business planted in her.
